There are lots of romantic ingredients used throughout our Valentine Day Meal Menu. These include champagne, chocolate, rose, seafood, asparagus, duck and raspberries. Dinner party Taunton

We had a great evening on Saturday holding a Dinner party Taunton for Blaine and his friends.

The meal consisted of 2 different starters, 3 different mains and 3 different desserts. The menus was as follows:

Confit duck legs in a filo parcel with spiced plum sauce
 
Steak and ale pie with celeriac remoulade

Braised lamb shank in a red wine sauce with herbed mashed potato and thyme and honey carrots

Dinner Party Shaftesbury, Melbury Vale Vineyard

On Friday night we had a special evening dinner party Shaftesbury at the Melbury Vale Winery. This included a selection of cocktails made from their wines, fusions, brandies and liqueurs. The menu was also special as we had various dietary requirements to include in the mix. These were some gluten free, some with gluten, some vegetarian, some to include some fish and also some meat.

Everyone had a fantastic evening and the food was enjoyed by all. The menu for this special evening was as follows:

Sunday Menu

Steve James Ltd has now got a Sunday Menu. Have a special Sunday lunch or evening roast dinner to end your weekend with friends or family

You can find our new Sunday Menu here

You are able to have three courses all for just £25 in the comfort of your own home! Including a beautiful roast dinner served family style with all the trimmings. Select either Roast pork, chicken, lamb, beef or a nut roast. Steve james will come to your house and cook the roast for you and your guests to share. The washing up will be completed and kitchen left as it was found so you won’t even need to lift a finger once your finished.

All of the seasonal vegetables and potatoes provided to you during the meal are grown by Steve James himself. So they are the freshest produce available and organic.

End the meal with a lovely panna cotta with a seasonal sauce (for example: mulled berries for winter, a pomegranate and orange blossom sauce for summer)

We have spent the last couple of days compiling our Winter menu 2016. This will run from the beginning of December 2016 until the end of February 2017.

Our latest Autumn menu is available from September to November this year. It is a celebration of Autumnal flavours and ingredients. We have included things such as Game, beetroot, apples, pears, squash and great berries carried across all food and accompanied cocktails. As the weather starts to get colder, even though I hate to say it, and the nights draw in, we look for heartier dishes which our menu is full of and using fresh local seasonal produce including plenty of fresh vegetables grown from our plot here at Steve James.
