As a caterer Yeovil Steve James Ltd loves to help out charity events and was delighted to help one last night! The Mayor of Yeovil, Darren Shutler organised a Wine tasting evening which we are pleased to have helped with. He had organised the wine tasting evening with Majestic Wine on Sherborne Road in Yeovil.
This was held at the beautiful Home Farm in Chilthorne Domer. Home Farm is run by Celia and Henry offering bed and breakfast accommodation in a recently converted barn. It is set in 45 acres of farm land and a short drive from many local attractions. The conversion comprises of three double bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms and one bathroom. There is also one annex adjoining the converted barn. To see their gallery and find out more information about Home Farm please follow the link www.homefarmbreaks.co.uk.
Steve James Ltd can cook for guests in self catering accommodation. If you would like us to cater for you then please get in contact
The money raised was for two most noteworthy charities. First of all St Margaret’s Hospice in Yeovil who deliver care to patients and support to family with life limiting illnesses. Information can be found about St Margaret’s Hospice here www.somerset-hospice.org.uk.
Another important charity the money was raised for is The Piers Simon Appeal- School in a Bag. They provide financial support through Disaster Relief to victims of disasters, big or small worldwide, regardless of race, politics or religion. School in a Bag is a simple solution created to help poor, orphan, vulnerable and also disaster affected children throughout the world. Each School Bag is filled with stationery, learning resources and eating utensils that will enable a child to write, draw, colour, calculate, express themselves and all learn.
