4. Confirm booking and payment

A cheque can be used if being booked in advance. Cash payment can be accepted on the evening but will need to be paid at the start of the evening.

What Happens After Booking?

All that is left to do is confirm the time you want to start your meal & the address of where it is to be held. Make sure you inform us of any dietary requirements.

If we have any questions we’ll contact you (but we’re available if you need to contact us)

On the day of the event we may need to arrive approximately 2 – 4 hours before the start of service but this will be confirmed before the day. We will bring all the ingredients to prepare the meal in your kitchen. Each dish will be cooked for you and the kitchen will be left clean and tidy.

FAQ

What type of events do you service?

Steve James can cater for parties, private events and special occasions. We can provide a personal chef service for  canapés, hen nights or birthday parties, business gatherings, Christmas parties, holiday catering or just an evening in with friends.

Do we supply the plates and cutlery and equipment?

Yes,  we will provide plates and cutlery and all equipment needed for cooking so you do not need to worry about anything except for dressing the table to your style, putting your favourite music on and enjoying the evening.

Can everyone have something different?

It is advised that everyone have the same main dish to ensure that everything comes out at the same time especially for larger bookings. But if you have any queries regarding this then please contact us.  

What about special dietary requirements?

We cater for all dietary requirements, so please inform us of any special requests and we can work a meal to suit this.

How do I get a quote and book?

You can get a quote and place your booking by contacting us either through email, phone or using our contact form. If you live locally we can also arrange meeting to discuss any needs you have.

Just inform us of the location where you want the service, contact details, the date of your event and the number of guests who will be attending. Make sure you let us know of any special dietary requirements and if you would like a bespoke menu created for you then have a think of your favourite ingredients to inspire us and what you wouldn’t like on your menu.
